General Manager, The Landings Resort & Spa
Paul Collymore has been involved in the hospitality industry, with a focus on Operations Management, for the last twenty-four (24) years. During his career, he has been actively engaged with major hotels and restaurants; and has successfully determined and maintained optimum standards required to effectively manage hotel operations. He possesses experience in all aspects of hotel management at luxury hotels. He holds a Master of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management with Revans University, IMCA Socrates; completed the General Managers Program at Cornell School of Hotel Administration; and is a certified trainer.
He began his career in the food and beverage segment before transitioning into operations management and full hotel management. His experience has helped him develop operational procedures, training systems and accounting procedures for the hospitality industry. Paul’s concentration has been in overseeing operations and coordinating development projects. These projects have included hotels and restaurant developments. He also served as a Board of Director with the National Conservation Commission in Barbados; Board of Director with the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA); council member of The Barbados Technical and Vocational Education and Training Council (TVET); Chairman of the People Development Initiative and Executive Committee member of The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association and a member of the Saint Lucia Hotel and Tourism Associations, Chef’s Table Committee.
Paul has held senior management positions at leading hospitality entities ranging from Food and Beverage Manager, Rooms Division Manager, Director of Operations & Hotel Manager, Operations Manager and General Manager.
Paul is currently the General Manager of The Landings Resort & Spa in Saint Lucia.
